Tips for boosting your Adsense Revenue

Google AdSense program has made it easier for webmasters to make money through a website. Webmasters who run an AdSense campaign will display Google's contextual Ads relevant to the content of their sites and thus encouraging visitors to click the ads and earn money for each ad click.

However you will earn very little AdSense revenue if you don't know how to optimize your AdSense ads on your website. Here are some tips to increase your AdSense earning:

1. Focus on one Adsense ad format. The Large Rectangle (336X280) ad format seems to work better than other ad formats because this format tends to result in higher click through rates (CTR). Another reason is that the ads will look like normal web links that visitors use to click on them. It doesn't matter whether the visitors know that they are clicking AdSense ads or not, as long as there are clicking, you earn AdSense commission.

2. Create a custom palette for your ads. Select a color that matches your website's background. If your site's background is white both, the color of ad border and background should set to be white too. Also the color of the ad title should be similar to coloe of the links in your website. This is to make your AdSense ads look like it is part of the web pages. Again, this will boost AdSense CTR.

3. Don't place your AdSense ads at the bottom of your webpages because it is proven to be less effective. Displaying your AdSense ads at the bottom is like hiding your AdSense and thus leads to low CTR and AdSense revenue. Try to put them in the place where people can see them quickly. You will be amazed how the difference between AdSense locations can make when you see your earnings.

4. Try to place your AdSense ads near rich content as visitors main focus usually are your content. There are several ways to insert AdSense ads into your content and one of the ways is place your AdSense just after the end of your content.

5. Try to automate the insertion of your AdSense code into the webpages using SSI (or server side included). Ask your web administrator if your server supports SSI or not. How do you do it? Just save your AdSense code in a text file, name it as “AdSense text”, and upload it to the root directory of the web server. Then use SSI, call the code on other pages. This tip is a time saver especially for those who are using automatic page generators to generate pages on their website.

These are some of the tips that have worked well for some who want to generate hundreds and even thousands on their websites. There are other ways to optimize your AdSense that produce high CTR also. You can learn more tricks by reading in AdSense and webmaster forums.v

Making Money With Adsense

If you want to build residual income on the internet you should look into Google AdSense. The opportunities out there to make money with AdSense offer beginners the best change of building a passive stream of income from the internet. Perhaps the best part about learning to build residual income with AdSense is you can start off small by writing articles on website's that already have prominent search engine placement due to their high page rank, inbound links, and large number of pages.

The disadvantage to this is that all of these article websites that pay members are revenue sharing systems. You get to publish articles on their website that will achieve high search engine rankings because that website is an authority. Then after you get a good understanding of this business model you learn how to build your own website in which you do not have to share revenue.

This is basically article distribution. The only difference is you are writing articles for money instead of links to your website. Websites that you can write articles on and get paid for it are referred to commonly on the web as "paid to write" websites. These types of websites make it easy to build nice looking articles with little to no HTML skills. Then those pages will be indexed by search engines, especially Google and yahoo. They deliver free traffic to your articles and when someone clicks on the ads you get paid for it.

Once you learn how how to build a search engine friendly website you can use AdSense to create multiple streams of income. The type of AdSense you use on paid article sites is called "AdSense for content". It is for monetizing content pages hints the name. You can also place AdSense ads on RSS feeds, site search results, mobile webpages, and domains. When you have your own website built you will have all these options since you can easily create a site search engine using Google's tools, build a RSS Feed with Feedburner, convert your pages into mobile ones, and you will of course have tons of content pages to place AdSense ads.

Once you have completed this, you just let your website run on autopilot. You may want to add some things that will increase the amount of residual income that you make such as an autoresponder ecourse that you either charge money for or contains affiliate links that will earn you commissions on products if you do not have your own. Both options are good money makers. Another thing you can do to increase your amount of residual income is incorporate user generated content. You do this by buying software that you can use on your site that will allow site visitors to create their own pages within your site.

Soon your site will double in pages. There is one product that stands alone in this niche. It is called Content 2.0. It is a software product offered by SiteSell for $100 a year. It easily allows site visitors to create their own content pages that will get indexed by the search engines and return significant traffic to your site. The best part is you can make money with AdSense using this product. On each user generated content page small discrete AdSense link units appear. They earn you substantial money and do not appear to be spammy due the little amount of space they take up.

Writing an Effective Product Reviews for Successful Affiliate Marketing

Publishing product reviews is the best way to attract potential customers and earn affiliate commissions. This is why affiliate marketers constantly find themselves writing reviews for all sorts of products. However, simply describing a product will not work for affiliate marketing. If you want to make money out of affiliate marketing, your product reviews must be convincing. To ensure that your product reviews will bring you affiliate commissions, follow the steps below:

1) State a Problem

At the beginning of your review, you need to state a problem or issue that your target market faces. Recognizing the desire for something will also work. This way, anyone who relates with the problem, issue, or desire will be more likely to read on.

2) Outline the Solution

Describe a general solution to whatever it is that you used as an introduction. In this section, illustrate what the product can do without mentioning what the product is. Doing this will give readers an impression of what an ideal product is.

3) Introduce the Product

This is the portion where you introduce your product as having the exact characteristics as what you just described as an ideal product. This will help readers quickly realize the importance of the product you are reviewing.

4) Describe the Product

Outline the benefits of what you are reviewing in terms of addressing the problem, issue, or desire you stated. It would be best if you could recount your own experience with the product so that readers will get a better idea of what they can gain out of it. This is also the part where you can state flaws or disadvantages but make it clear that the benefits outweigh the drawbacks.

5) Summarize Your Review

This is where you restate everything you have described in a few simple sentences. By doing this, you reinforce all the product benefits in your readers' minds.

The steps above will help you compose convincing product reviews. Follow them and you will find that you can make money out of affiliate marketing almost effortlessly.

Changing favicon in Blogger

Changing a favicon in blogger is very easy, as easy as a-b-c. You just to need the basic knowledge of changing your blogger template. All you need to do is to insert the following "link code" below in your template, between the "head tag".

The Link Code

What is the Image URL?

The image URL is the web address of the image you are going to use as your favicon. It may either be in the following format: jpg, gif, or png. You have to make first your own favicon icon with Web Editor Tool like Lunapic or any other sites. Since it is a web address, you need to upload it on a photo hosting site like Imageshack, Photobucket. Replace the {image URL} with your exact image URL.

Go to Layout and look for "Edit HTML".

Search for the Head Tag:

To Locate, press ctrl+F and search for this symbol () and paste your link code above it, then save it. Look for the example given below.

After placing the image URL, save it, then open your blog and you can see the result immediately.

Favicon Not Allowed in Blogger?! Of Course Not!

I am sure there's nothing in the Blogger Terms of Service that states about favicon restrictions, not even template restrictions. You may read the terms yourself. I might have missed something. But even a keyword like "icon" or "template", I could not find any when I tried to search it.

I have tried to search it in Google also but I could not find any result that states about these kind of restrictions in blogger. All I can see are words about adding favicons to blogger or perhaps animated favicons for blogger.

Though I have found one post where it said that blogger did not allow, but was because he made it wrong that resulted to an error and then concluded it was not allowed. Don't be deceived immediately by the things you've read. As I have said, I might have missed something, so read the terms yourself.

If you want to learn how to change your favicon, you better start reading "how to change favicon in blogger".

You need to allow them to participate in your site so that they will keep visiting it and spend more time there. What you can do is create a forum and encourage your visitors to discuss issues that are relevant to your offerings.
